Our Story

Founded in 2022

Founded in 2022, Quartzsite Southern Christian Academy was established by a compassionate church community seeking to address the educational needs of local children. Our mission is to provide not only a superior education, but also to instill strong Biblical values in our students.

Our Philosophy

At QSCA, our aim is to extend the Christian home by offering a God-centered education that instills strong moral values in our students. We wholeheartedly embrace and follow the biblical teachings, as expressed in the following verse:

“Love the Lord thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might. And these words which I command you this day, shall be in thy heart, and thou shalt teach them diligently unto all thy children...” Deuteronomy 6: 5-7

The philosophy of Quartzsite Southern Christian Academy (QSCA) is consistent with that of the Quartzsite Southern Baptist Church in that:

  • Christ shall have preeminence.
  • The Bible is the inerrant word of God and is the only source for faith and practice.
  • Children are a heritage from the Lord and each is precious in His sight.
  • Christian principles and precepts are taught by the life of the teacher (Supervisor or Monitor) as well as by the words.

Our School

QSCA offers a safe and nurturing environment with three classrooms for students from kindergarten through 12th grade. Our campus is secure with fingerprinted staff, appointment-only access for visitors, and cameras monitoring both inside and outside the premises. Students can also enjoy a spacious eating area during their break and lunchtime.

Our Staff

The dedicated staff at QSCA consists of our Principal and Church Pastor, Pastor Jeff Saxton, and three experienced supervisors who oversee different grade levels. Together, they work diligently to provide a supportive and engaging learning atmosphere for our students.
